Zells American Caribbean Takeout was founded by Michael & Erica Mozell in 2015.
Erica was born in Kingston Jamaica, and migrated to Paterson New Jersey In the 80s. In 2007, she moved to Ocala, Fl. Where she met and fell in love with her husband Michael, a Williston Florida native. The two enjoyed cooking so much that they merged their unique cooking talents, and formed a dynamic masterpiece. “ZELLS”.
Erica specialty is flavorful Jamaican cuisine. She is known for cooking her authentic golden brown stew oxtails marinated in zells spice and scotch bonette pepper to give it that zing. Customer also rave about the mouth watering finger licking Jamaican Jerk chicken.
Chef Michael is well known for his slow smoke Succulent BBQ chicken and Ribs topped off with a variety of zells sauce. The food is good to the last bite have you coming back for MO—ZELLS.
